       6月10日南通世界通商总会加拿大分会于温哥华半岛明珠（308-470 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver）成功举办揭牌仪式。江苏省南通南通市委书记陆志鹏亲自为加拿大分会授牌，分会的建立将充分发挥好桥梁作用，为加快南通对外经济发展、维护海外南通籍人员权益、提升南通国际形象作出贡献。当晚江苏省南通市政府代表与温哥华侨团代表、学者教授及商界精英畅谈南通发展历程及远景展望，并就如何实施国家"一带一路"战略进行开放性对话和深入讨论。

On June 10th, the Canadian Association of Nantong Merchants Abroad successfully held the unveiling ceremony at Peninsula Pearl of Vancouver (308-470 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver). Lu Zhipeng, secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee of Nantong, Jiangsu Province, personally awarded the license to  the Canadian Association of Nantong Merchants Abroad. The establishment of the branch will give full play to its role as a bridge and contribute to accelerating the development of Nantong's foreign economy, safeguarding the rights and interests of overseas Nantong citizens, and enhancing Nantong's international image. In the evening, representatives of the Nantong Municipal Government of Jiangsu Province, representatives of the Vancouver overseas Chinese delegation, scholars, professors and business elites talked about Nantong's development history and long-term prospects, and conducted open dialogues and in-depth discussions on how to implement the national "Belt and Road" strategy.

陆志鹏书记代表南通市委市政府感谢领事馆一直以来对通商的关心和支持，感谢温哥华及加拿大各级政府对南通老乡的生活给予的照顾。
      Secretary Lu Zhipeng, on behalf of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee and Government, thanked the Consulate for its continuous care and support for trade, and thanked Vancouver and Canadian governments at all levels for their care for the lives of the Nantong fellows.

 

陆志鹏书记首先向到场嘉宾介绍南通近年的发展，近年来，南通持续推进对接上海工作，在互联互通、产业融合、园区共建、社会事业、要素引进等方面取得了阶段性成果。目前，我市与上海共建7个合作园区，50%的企业与上海合作，60%的货物通过上海口岸，70%的农副产品供给上海，每年与上海签约产学研合作项目保持40个以上。南通作为上海的“北大门”，是上海发展的承载地和产业腹地，两地在产业、人才、科技等方面密切交流、深化融合、互补发展。

加拿大华人社团联席会执行主席王典奇

 

王典奇先生很荣幸代表联席会参加共同主席单位南通同乡会今天的活动，联席会是在汶川发生地震后，在各社团联手赈灾筹款的基础上，於2008年5月成立，到现在已成为大温哥华地区非常活跃的华人社团联合体。加拿大华人社团联席会先后组织举办了一系列具有深远影响的活动，四川汶川地震、青海玉树地震、台湾风灾、海地地震、日本地震海啸，尼泊尔地震，阿省火灾等灾害发生时，都能看到联席会的身影。2016年9月3日组织了“纪念中国人民抗日战争胜利暨世界反法西斯战争胜利71周年暨敬老感恩大会”。在中国南海问题上，联席会积极与兄弟社团合作，代表华人发出华人的声音，支持维护祖籍国中国的领土完整。2016年9月30日，在大温哥华地区第一次升旗中华人民共和国国旗来庆祝祖籍国成立67周年，在这些活动中周元会长一直积极参与配合。联席会今后将一如既往积极支持南通和温哥华、加拿大的互通互惠，王典奇先生衷心祝愿陆志鹏书记本次加拿大之行能够有所收获。

陈惠会长十分高兴能够参加第三十五家加拿大分会的成立，通商足迹已遍布全球120多个国家和地区，今天陆书记亲临现场，这对南通世界通商总会也是一种鼓励和鞭策。陈惠会长认为通商拥有江海般的胸怀，他希望加拿大分会的成立不仅是在温哥华的通商能够受益，更希望团结加拿大所有的通商共享资源，在这样的平台上共同发展。不管大家在世界的何处，都有一个共同的家-南通。陈惠会长强调通商在成就事业的同时也要履行更多的社会责任，希望有机会多回故乡南通看看，为南通的发展做出自己的贡献。
